Siyabonga Ngezana's FCSB boss thrilled at the player's contract extension with the team
FCSB's Mihai Stoica is excited about Siyabonga Ngezana's decision to renew his cntract with the Romanian side.
Ngezana's initial deal at the club was due to expire next year but the club exercised its two year option which will see the former Kaizer Chiefs defender stay there until 2029.
Ngezana is currently in the doctor's bed at the club after undergoing surgery on his knee which will keep him out of action for another three months or so.
That injury kept him out of Bafana Bafana's World Cup squad currently taking place in USA, Mexcio and Canada.
"Ngezana asked me something today, it was a big surprise, I wasn’t expecting it," Stoica told Prima Sport.
"He asked me whether he should come here on Thursday or go straight to the Netherlands.
"And because he was so sweet about it, he will come to the Netherlands. I said they should get him a ticket and we’ll see each other on Friday in the Netherlands. That’s what he says.
"He surprised me. Let’s wait and see. He usually used to arrive around August. I’m happy that he ended up extending in the end."
