Siyabonga Ngezana will be out of the football pitch for at least two months.

FCSB head coach Mihai Stoica confirmed that the Bafana Bafana defender has undergone surgery for a meniscus injury.

"Ngezana will undergo surgery," Stoica said according to the Fanatik. "I think he will be out for about 6 weeks. He has a meniscus injury. Now it is explained. It is incomprehensible that he, probably thinking about the national team, forced himself, played like that, did not play at the level he used to."

"We don't understand why such a valuable player would have such a steep decline, but he was injured and playing with problems. At least now the mystery has been solved," he concluded.

Ngezana's injury was discovered over the weekend when he fell during their Romanian Ligue 1 game against Botosani as the team was still doing their warm up.

Ngezana is expected to be out for the next six weeks and April looks like will be the month of his return.
