Details: According to the Springboks' official account on X (formerly Twitter), players from three clubs—Bulls, Stormers, and Lions—have been shortlisted for this individual accolade.
The Bulls' nominees for Next-Gen Player of the Season are Cameron Hanekom and Jan-Hendrik Wessels. The Stormers put forward Suleiman Hartzenberg and André-Hugo Venter, while the Lions' hopes rest on Henko van Wyk and Quan Horn.
The Next-Gen Player of the Season award is given to rugby players who have demonstrated outstanding skills throughout the season. According to the competition's rules, nominees must be no older than 23 at the start of the tournament and have no more than five international caps prior to its kickoff.
