Siphesihle Ndlovu gives glowing outcome of Kaizer Chiefs pre-season in Spain
Siphesihle Ndlovu's take on Kaizer Chiefs pre-season suggest Amakhosi will be dangerous this coming season.
Ndlovu said Chiefs are adapting well under new coach Fernando da Cruz, who replaced co-coaches Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze at the Chiefs helm.
“It has been a wonderful camp. We are very happy to be here to do some preparation for the new season. We are looking better and sharper each and every training session. We have a new coach with a new philosophy, and we are adapting well to his ideas,” said Ndlovu, as per Chiefs media.
“We are all enthusiastic and very ambitious. This is a lovely environment, but we are not here on holiday; we are here to work, and we are putting in the effort on a daily basis. We are enjoying it, though.
“These games are a good way to test yourself as to where you are at. They were different types of teams. Rangers were more physical while Al Khalood were more tactical.
“You want to play against teams like that because it’s similar to what we are likely to face in the league and CAF Confederation Cup. We held our own and managed to score in both games, so those are positives we can take forward.”
