Sinoxolo Kwayiba scores a brace for Chippa United to ease the relegation woes as they jumpt to the 14th spot in the Betway Premiership standings

Sinoxolo Kwayiba was the hero for Chippa United as his brace guided his team past Durban City in East London yesterday.

The lanky midfielder re-joined the Chilli Boys whom he left six months ago for a move to Orlando Pirates.

This month he returned to the Eastern Cape-based side to find the side fighting the dreaded drop.

Yesterday they faced Durban City who are now under Sinethemba Badela in a Betway Premiership match where Kwayiba netted both goals for Vusumuzi Vilakazi-coach Chippa.

Kwayiba netted in each half to see his club climb to the 14th spot with 15 points.

The win is a reprieve for them as they are not out of the woods as yet given the small margin of points which separate the bottom half teams.

It must have been a sweet victory for Chippa who had a win over Badela’s City in his second match.
