Sinethemba Badela's Durban City interested in Sekhukune United's Sphiwe Mahlangu ahead of the Betway Premiership restart this week

Sphiwe Mahlangu is on his way to Durban City from Sekhukhune United.

Mahlangu has been a bit part player at the Limpopo club and a move away from Eric Tinkler’s side would do his career a world of good.

The winger only played few games this season for Babina Noko which will makes it more easier for him to seek greener pastures and game time elsewhere.

Durban City under coach Sinethemba Badela is a team seeking to make an impression in the Betway Premiership.

Badela replaced Gavin Hunt in December and he is expected to ensure the team remains in the top eight as the decision to sack Hunt was a shock considering that the team was in the top eight.

Durban City are seventh with 22 points and resume their league programme against Polokwane City next week at home following the Africa Cup of Nations recess.
