Simple math: what Mamelodi Sundowns need to reach the round of 16

There's only one solution to the equation: victory.
Details: Sundowns currently sit third in Group F with three points after two matches, thanks to their win over Ulsan HD.
Cardoso's men can only advance from the group if they defeat Brazilian side Fluminense. If Borussia Dortmund also fail to overcome the aforementioned Ulsan HD, Sundowns would finish top of the group, setting up a knockout showdown against a team from Group E, where Inter and River Plate are battling for qualification.
A draw or defeat against Fluminense would see the 2016 CAF Champions League winners eliminated from the tournament, regardless of the result in the Dortmund vs. Ulsan match.
Sundowns will need to deliver their best performance on the world stage if they want to keep their Club World Cup journey alive.
The showdown between Mamelodi Sundowns and Fluminense is set for today at Hard Rock Stadium.
Reminder: New star on the rise! Mamelodi Sundowns are scouting a young Tanzanian talent
