Shooting Stars Coach Salisu Yusuf Reacts to Katsina United Victory

Shooting Stars coach Salisu Yusuf was pleased after his team earned a 2-0 win against Katsina United in their Matchday Five NPFL fixture at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

Ridwan Olanrewaju gave the Oluyole Warriors the lead in the 18th minute, and substitute Qamar Adegoke made sure of the result with a second goal in the 72nd minute.

Speaking after the final whistle, Coach Yussuf noted that the victory over the visiting team was vital, particularly for the three points picked up from the game.

" I'm very glad because the points will give the team much confidence going into the next game, which is a few days away. I think it's a morale booster for the team. ”

Shooting Stars will now turn their focus to their next NPFL fixture against Warri Wolves on September 27, with the Oluyole Warriors heading into the game full of confidence following their latest win in Ibadan.
