Shooting during Philadelphia Eagles parade: cause of incident and latest on the injured

Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles held their victory parade in the city when gunshots were suddenly heard.
According to CBS, two people were injured in the shooting. Medical personnel provided immediate assistance, and reports confirm that both women are in stable condition. The cause of the shooting remains unknown.

The incident took place just a few blocks from the team’s parade route, at the intersection of 23rd and Spring Garden. At the time of the parade, the Eagles’ transport carried not only the players and coaches but also the team’s owner, Jeffrey Lurie.
This is the second consecutive year that a Super Bowl parade has been marred by violence. Last year, a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ parade resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries.
