The Bulgarian Super Cup final ended in a major scandal.
Details: Ludogorets' Ghanaian winger Bernard Tekpetey, who became the hero of the match, was subjected to harsh racist attacks from Levski Sofia supporters. The incident occurred immediately after the player scored the only and decisive goal, securing the trophy for his team.
Levski fans could not accept defeat and began hurling racist insults at Tekpetey, mimicking monkey sounds.
The player himself refused to stay silent and responded with dignity to the aggression. On his social media, Bernard posted a powerful message against discrimination:
"There is no place for racism here. There is no excuse for it," Tekpetey wrote on Instagram.
Reminder: Legendary Bulgarian defender Dimitar Penev has passed away.
