Shocking! Ronaldo will leave Al-Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Al-Nassr is suddenly back in the spotlight.
Details: Saudi journalist Saud Al-Sarami has made a striking claim about the future of the Portuguese superstar. According to him, Ronaldo could leave Al-Nassr during the January transfer window.
“I believe Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Al-Nassr in January,” Al-Sarami said.
For now, this remains the journalist's personal assessment rather than confirmation of an agreed departure or transfer.
The statement comes at a difficult moment for the Saudi club. Al-Nassr opened their AFC Champions League campaign with a crushing 4-0 defeat away to Al-Ain on September 15. Ronaldo started the match, but his team failed to score despite enjoying more possession and winning ten corners.
Any potential January exit would be a major development because Ronaldo's current agreement with Al-Nassr runs until 2027. The Portuguese forward extended his contract with the Riyadh club in June 2025, so a winter departure would require the sides to find a solution well before the scheduled end of the deal.
It is worth noting that Ronaldo remains an Al-Nassr player and was in the starting lineup for the club's latest AFC Champions League match against Al-Ain. No official announcement regarding a January departure has been made by the club.
Reminder: Shame! Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr lose 4-0 in AFC Champions League opener
