Shocking discovery: severe mold found in Celta defender’s home caused recurring illnesses
Celta Vigo centre-back Carl Starfelt missed several matches due to recurring illnesses that puzzled the club’s medical staff. However, the source of the problem has finally been uncovered.
Details: Following an internal investigation, Celta discovered that Starfelt’s home contained extensive mold growth, which was responsible for his ongoing health issues.
After leaving the affected house, the defender’s condition improved significantly, and his symptoms disappeared. He has since returned to the pitch.
Celta suffered a 2–4 defeat to Barcelona in their previous La Liga fixture and currently sit 13th in the table with 13 points after 12 rounds. Following the international break, they are set to face Alavés.
Reminder: Barcelona’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski made his mark in his first appearance for the Catalan club in over a month. Earlier this season, the forward struggled with injuries and is still working to regain peak form.
