Shock on the horizon? Manchester City 45 minutes away from Champions League exit

On Wednesday, January 29, Manchester City hosts Club Brugge in the eighth round of the UEFA Champions League in what is a do-or-die match for the Citizens.

Details: Pep Guardiola’s side came into the round sitting in 25th place, meaning they needed a win at all costs. City started strongly and played with intensity, but struggled to find the net. To make matters worse, they conceded just before halftime in the 45th minute, further complicating their situation.

Now, to secure a place in the knockout stage, Manchester City must score at least two goals while keeping their defense intact.

By the way, 18 matches will take place on this day, all at the same time. All games start at 21:00 CET. This is the first time in the history of the UEFA Champions League that 18 games of the tournament will be played on the same day.
