Tomorrow will witness three matches of the 32nd round of the English Premier League, among which will be the encounter of the league's main underdog, Sheffield United, against Chelsea.

Sheffield United has likely relinquished all hopes of retaining their place in the elite division of English football. With just eight matches remaining in the championship, the Blades have accrued a mere fifteen points, trailing by ten points from the safety zone. While there still exist mathematical chances for Sheffield to remain in the Premier League, such a possibility is considered exceedingly slim.

Chelsea has exhibited rather inconsistent performances in the current season. The Blues find themselves at the bottom of the top half of the league table and have, most probably, bid farewell to their chances of participating in European competitions next season. However, victory in the upcoming match may provide the Pensioners with an opportunity to climb to seventh place, should three teams ahead of them falter.

Many well-known resources, such as Sofascore, Besoccer, and Whoscored, have already put forth their speculations regarding the possible starting lineups of each team. Additionally, one of Europe's major telecommunications systems, Eurosport, has not remained indifferent to this event.

It is worth noting, foremost, that each team has suffered a significant number of absences ahead of the match.

For Sheffield United, the following players will be unavailable: John Egan, George Baldock, Chris Basham, Rhian Brewster, Tom Davies, Daniel Jebbison, Max Lowe, and Rhys Norrington-Davies.

Chelsea will be without Reece James, Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Chimuanya Ugochukwu, and Wesley Fofana. Additionally, there remains doubt regarding the participation of Robert Sanchez and Ben Cullwell.

Regarding Sheffield United's starting lineup, sources diverge on three players.

In goal, Ivo Grbic is likely to be deployed. In defense, he will be assisted by Jack Robinson, Anel Ahmedhodzic, and Mason Holgate.

In midfield, Gustavo Hamer, Ollie Norwood, Vinicius Souza, and Jayden Bogle are expected to feature. The question remains as to whom Chris Wilder will favor on the left flank, where either Ben Osborn or Osman Trawally may play.

In attack, a pair of forwards will be deployed, and the head coach will have to choose between Ben Brereton, Oliver McBurnie, and James McCarty.

  • Predicted Sheffield United line-ups:
    Grbic – Robinson, Ahmedhodzic, Holgate – Osborn/Trawally, Hamer, Norwood, Souza, Bogle – Brereton/McBurnie/McCarty, Brereton/McBurnie/McCarty

As for Chelsea's starting lineup, sources have differing opinions regarding many players.

In goal, Georgi Petrovich is likely to take position. In defense, a quartet of players will feature, among whom will be Benoit Badiashile and Malo Gusto. In the center, Trevor Chalobah or Axel Tuanzebe may play, while on the left, either Marcos Alonso or Ben Chilwell may start, provided the latter is fit to play.

In the midfield, closer to the holding zone, Enzo Fernandez is expected, and alongside him, either Conor Gallagher or Moises Caicedo may partner. Closer to the attack in this line, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke are likely to feature. The player for the left flank remains in question, and Mauricio Pochettino may deploy either Mikhail Mudrik or Rahim Sterling.

Nicholas Jackson will be the lone striker.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-ups:
    Petrovich – Alonso/Chilwell, Badiashile, Chalobah/Tuanzebe, Gusto – Fernandez, Gallagher/Caicedo – Mudrik/Sterling, Palmer, Madueke – Jackson
