On April 7th, London's Chelsea visited the bottom-ranked team of the Premier League, Sheffield United. The "Blues" approached this match with a solid unbeaten streak - the team hasn't lost in the Premier League for over two months. Interestingly, during a similar period, Sheffield United hasn't secured a single victory.

With hopes of gaining points in this match, the hosts started bidding farewell within the first minutes. Chelsea took possession of the ball and opened the scoring after a corner kick: a precise strike credited to Thiago Silva. However, after conceding the goal, the hosts played with more determination and soon equalized. In the second half, the "Blues" continued to dominate possession, but couldn't create anything in front of the opponent's goal. On the contrary, Sheffield United missed a couple of opportunities to score, for which they ultimately paid the price. Madueke, who executed an excellent solo run, once again put the visitors ahead, but in the stoppage time of the second half, McBurnie struck Petrovich's goal and snatched victory from Pochettino's charges.

Chelsea is seriously contending for the sixth place, while Sheffield United is hopelessly stuck at the bottom position. The gap to the crucial 17th place is already nine points, and the fact that the team will start the new season in the Championship is just a matter of time.

Sheffield United 2 - 2 Chelsea
Goals: Bogle 32, McBurnie 90+3 - Silva 11, Madueke 66.
