Shakhtar leader names two Serie A clubs who made offers for him

In the past transfer window, the media were buzzing with claims that Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov could move to one of two Italian clubs: Napoli or Juventus, who are still interested in the player.

The Pitmen's player himself shed light on this information in a conversation with Corriere dello Sport:

"I know nothing about the interest of Galatasaray, Manchester City and Barcelona, but Shakhtar director Serhiy Palkin told me about the offers from Juventus and Napoli. The club rejected the latter's offer of €40 million."

Sudakov explained how he reacted to this decision of the Donetsk club:

"At first I was a bit upset, but then I understood the club. I still haven't given it everything I can and the club wants to get as much as possible from my sale".
