Sevilla loaned Inter midfielder

Sevilla has officially announced the loan signing of central midfielder Lucien Agoumé from Inter until the end of the season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement includes an option to buy set at 8 million euros.

Sevilla won the battle for the 21-year-old Frenchman against Marseille, who had shown interest since the opening of the transfer window but backed off after negotiations with the player himself.

Agoumé has only played four matches for Inter's first team. Last season, he was on loan at Troyes, and prior to that, Inter loaned him to Spezia and Brest.

The current season has been challenging for Sevilla, currently occupying the 16th position after 19 rounds, with only one point separating them from the relegation zone. In the Champions League, Sevilla finished fourth in the group with Arsenal, PSV, and Lorient.
