Chelsea's forward will spend the second half of the season in Spain

Chelsea's forward, David Datro Fofana, could be on the move again in January. The Ivorian spent the first half of the season with Union Berlin, and now he's close to a loan move to Sevilla in Spain, as reported by The Sun with reference to Fabrizio Romano.

In the current season, Fofana featured in 17 matches for the German club, netting twice. It's worth noting that the forward had a public falling out with the former coach of Union Berlin, Urs Fischer. The London club is reportedly ready to recall the player from his loan to facilitate his move to Spain.

David Fofana joined Chelsea a year ago from Norway's Molde. He has made only four appearances for the Blues and hasn't registered any goals or assists. The reputable platform Transfermarkt values the 21-year-old forward at 8 million euros.
