Sevilla agree a move for Arsenal midfielder

Arsenal's central midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has found a new club where he will gain more playing time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla has agreed to a loan transfer for Sambi Lokonga. The deal includes a purchase option for 12 million euros, with the Spanish club covering the majority of the Belgian player's salary.

In the previous season, Lokonga was on loan at Luton Town, where he played 17 matches, scored 1 goal, and provided 3 assists. Before that, he also had a loan spell at Crystal Palace.

For Arsenal, Lokonga has only made 39 appearances without any goal contributions.

Sevilla finished the previous season in 14th place in La Liga.
