The Norwegian national team's Olympic hopes have been thrown into jeopardy following an incident during the first training session in Bormio.

Details: 25-year-old Norwegian alpine skier Fredrik Møller suffered a major setback during the downhill run. The athlete lost control on a sharp turn and endured a dangerous fall, after which he was unable to get back on his feet unaided.

The situation required immediate intervention from emergency services. Due to the challenging terrain and the severity of the injury, a medical helicopter was called to the slope to rescue Møller. The rescue team carried out a prompt evacuation directly from the mountainside.

It's worth noting that the 2026 Olympics will kick off on February 6 in Milan and Cortina, running through February 22.

Reminder: Snoop Dogg is once again carrying the Olympic flame.
