Snoop Dogg’s appearance with the Olympic torch in hand has already become iconic.
Details: Ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games, the Olympic torch was traditionally carried through the streets of Milan, and among the torchbearers was once again the popular American rapper Snoop Dogg.
Snoop Dogg had already taken part in a similar event back in 2024, when the Olympics were held in Paris. Back then, the rapper running with the torch quickly became a meme among fans. The reason is simple: Snoop Dogg is widely known for his fondness for marijuana, and the sight of him with a burning torch in hand inevitably sparked certain associations among supporters.
Another torchbearer was Como’s head coach Cesc Fàbregas, who also took a turn running through the streets of Milan with the torch.
The Winter Olympic Games will kick off on February 6 in Milan and Cortina, running through February 22.
