With the arrival of Thiago Motta, there are many indications that Juventus will not find a place for perennial Bianconeri number one Wojciech Szczęsny. There are now a host of clubs vying to sign the Pole.

One of them, according to DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando, is Fiorentina. Florence reportedly have a soft spot for Szczęsny and dream of signing him.

But, so far, there is no certainty that the Violets will be able to reach an agreement with the 34-year-old goalkeeper and as a plan B have prepared other candidates to strengthen the position of the goalkeeper.

As we reported earlier, Fiorentina are considering signing ex-Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea. The Serie A club have already established the first contacts with the representatives of the Spanish goalkeeper.

In addition to Juventus, Szczęsny has also played for teams such as Arsenal and Roma. His contract with the Turin club runs until 30 June 2025.
