A fierce transfer tussle is unfolding between Italy’s Serie A and the English Premier League over one of the brightest and most talked-about wingers in France’s Ligue 1.

Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, Roma and Tottenham have entered the race to sign Marseille’s attacking star, Mason Greenwood. Both clubs have already made their first official moves and have opened preliminary negotiations with both the player’s representatives and the French club’s management.

For the 24-year-old English winger, who has been in outstanding form in France after his move from Manchester United, this could be a chance to make a triumphant return to his homeland in the Premier League or to test himself in an ambitious Italian project.

It’s worth noting that this season, the English winger has played 45 matches for the French side across all competitions, netting 26 goals and providing 11 assists. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €55 million.

Reminder: Manchester City are preparing to sign Tottenham defender Pedro Porro.
