At the FIFA Club World Cup, Mexican side Monterrey will have a new head coach.
Details: Today, the club's management officially announced that head coach Martín Demichelis has been relieved of his duties.
The club is expected to announce his successor in the coming days.
Demichelis had been at the helm of the "Rayados" since last summer: 42 matches, 20 wins, 11 draws, and 11 defeats.
In the Club World Cup, Monterrey will face Inter, River Plate, and Urawa Reds in the group stage.
Reminder: Earlier reports suggested that Monterrey star Sergio Canales could return to Betis.
