💰 Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has yet to play a match for Monterrey, but he is already generating revenue for both the club and himself.
📄 The 38-year-old defender signed a contract with Monterrey until the end of the year and will wear the number 93 jersey. According to Marca, Ramos will receive 2% from every jersey sold with his name on it.
👕 Monterrey offers two types of jerseys: the fan edition costs 1,919 pesos, while the professional version is priced at 2,699 pesos. This means the Spanish center-back will earn between 38 and 55 pesos per jersey, which translates to approximately $1.87 to $2.71 USD.
⏳ Ramos played his last official match in May 2024 for Sevilla and has been without a club since. The 38-year-old is expected to make his debut for Monterrey in early March.
