The legendary Spanish defender Sergio Ramos is nearing a move to a Saudi Arabian club, according to insider Nicolò Schira.

However, the name of the club has not been disclosed by the source. Sergio Ramos is currently a free agent, having left Sevilla at the end of the 2023/24 season. We recently reported that Al Nassr is considering the possibility of signing Ramos. After leaving Santiago Bernabéu, the Spaniard joined Paris Saint-Germain and subsequently returned to his former club, Sevilla.

According to the statistical portal Transfermarkt, his contract value is estimated at €2.5 million. It remains uncertain whether Ramos will agree to a move to Saudi Arabia, as he has expressed a desire to continue his career in MLS, with San Diego previously linked with him.

In the opening match of the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr played against Al-Raed at home. Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal was not enough to secure victory for his team.
