Cristiano Ronaldo's goal was insufficient to secure a victory for Al Nassr over Al-Raed

In the opening match of the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr faced Al-Raed at home.
In the first half, the hosts performed better, with Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese striker and legend, scoring a goal. The assist came from another star player, Sadio Mané. The teams went into halftime with Al Nassr leading 1-0.
However, after the break, the hosts made a mistake that led to a penalty against them. Mohammed Fouzair converted it, levelling the score. Al Nassr pressed forward and dominated the game. Ronaldo scored again in the 76th minute, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.
Despite continuing to pressure the visitors' goal, Al Nassr could not find a winning goal. Cristiano Ronaldo's earlier goal did not help Al Nassr secure the victory, and they began the season with dropped points.
