Serena Williams announces launch of global Reckitt Catalyst initiative

Legendary tennis star Serena Williams has announced the launch of a major campaign aimed at empowering women and other underrepresented entrepreneurs to kickstart their own initiatives. Williams shared the news in a post on her Instagram page.
Williams will serve as the first entrepreneur-in-residence for the campaign, which is a joint effort with Reckitt, a brand specializing in health and hygiene products.
Reckitt Catalyst is a five-year program designed to provide entrepreneurs with funding, expertise, and mentorship. Up to £10 million will be allocated for the campaign. The initiative aims to help innovative businesses scale rapidly and address key health and hygiene challenges in communities around the world.
It is worth noting that up to 200 startups in the health and hygiene sector, founded by women and underrepresented entrepreneurs, will participate in the campaign. Their mission will be to develop solutions that improve access to health and hygiene services for 5 million people.
