This would be a truly sensational appointment.

Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, the Ghana Football Association is close to reaching an agreement with 66-year-old former Germany head coach Joachim Löw.

Reports indicate that Löw could take charge of Ghana on a short-term deal, set specifically for the World Cup period. Negotiations are now at the final stage, with both parties having already agreed on Löw’s personal terms—he is expected to earn around €150,000 per month.

Currently, Joachim Löw is a free agent after stepping down as Germany’s head coach in 2021.

At the World Cup, Ghana has been drawn into a group with England, Croatia, and Panama.

Reminder: Hervé Renard will not continue his tenure with Saudi Arabia and is set to take charge of an African national team
