Manchester United is seriously interested in acquiring Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo and is considering including several of its players in the deal to reduce the transfer cost. The new head coach of the Mancunians, Ruben Amorim, has already figured out how he will utilize the 25-year-old Ghanaian forward in his tactical scheme. However, United faces competition from Liverpool and Tottenham, who are also showing interest in the player.

According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth is not willing to part with its leading striker without serious compensation and values him at £70 million. Understanding that such an amount may be excessive, Manchester United's management is considering including several players in the deal who are not part of the club's long-term plans. Among the potential candidates for the swap are Jadon Sancho, who is rumored not to want to return to the team after his loan, as well as Marcus Rashford, whose future at Old Trafford remains uncertain. Additionally, left-back Tyrell Malacia, who is recovering from injury and may interest Bournemouth amid the possible departure of Milos Kerkez, and young Harry Amass—a promising full-back who recently debuted for the first team—are mentioned as possible bargaining chips. It is also possible that Amass could be loaned out to gain playing experience.

Thus, Manchester United is ready to utilize the depth of its squad to reduce the financial burden in the transfer of Semenyo and outpace competitors in the pursuit of a player whom Ruben Amorim sees as an important element of his future team.
