Sekhukhune United signs Mamelodi Sundowns defender Nyiko Mobbie on a permanent deal
Betway Premierhsip side Sekhukhune United have added veteran defender Nyiko Mobbie to their stable.
Mobbie arrives on a permanent transfer from Caf Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns having spent most part of his career away on loan at various PSL clubs.
The right-back arrived at Sundowns more than five seasons ago from now defunct Free State Stars but has not spent a season with the Brazilians.
He has been loaned out to SuperSport United and most recently at Siwelele FC but now Babina Noko have secured his signature on a permanet deal.
“Sekhukhune United Football Club is delighted to welcome Nyiko Mobbie back to Babina Noko on a permanent transfer,” announced Sekhukhune via a statement.
“Mobbie returns to the club after a highly successful spell between the 2021/22 and 2023/24 seasons, during which he established himself as one of the Premier Soccer League’s standout performers."
