Cedric Kaze is headed for a stint at Betway Premiership side Sekhukhune United.

The PSL side are still in the hint for a new gaffer after letting go of Eric Tinkler towards the later stages of the past season.

Paulus Masehe and Andre Arendse held the fort, albeit on interim basis, as the team let go of Tinkler for failure to finish third on the PSL table.

Now, Kaze, who has also been allowed to leave by Amakhosi is in the Babina Noko frame as a potential Tinkler replacement.

“There are some talks that are happening. If it goes well, I’d gladly take it because I believe I know the platform, the league, the players and the format of the league,” Kaze told MSW's 947 Sports show.

Kaze disclosed further that it's a team in the top of the half of the PSL standings and Sekhukhune United are now in pole position to secure his signature.

Together with Ben Youssef Khalil at Chiefs as co-coaches, Kaze managed to see the Soweto side finish third on the standings, something which Chiefs failed to achieve in six years.
