Second PGA Tour title: Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg wins The Genesis Invitational
From February 13 to 16, one of the premier events on the PGA Tour, The Genesis Invitational, took place.
Details: Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg emerged as the champion, securing victory in an intensely competitive tournament. The Swede edged out the runner-up by just one stroke, finishing The Genesis Invitational at 17-under-par, while Maverick McNealy closed the event at 16-under-par.
This marks Åberg’s second career PGA Tour title. His first victory came in November 2023, when he won the RSM Classic. That weekend, he played back-to-back rounds of 61 and finished 29 strokes under par.
Reminder: Golf star Rory McIlroy will be the focal figure of the final season of the Netflix documentary series "Full Swing". The show will offer insight into his dramatic relationship with his wife, Erica.
