Golf star Rory McIlroy to reveal details about his marriage in Netflix series

Golf superstar Rory McIlroy will be featured in the final season of Netflix’s documentary series "Full Swing", where he will open up about his dramatic relationship with his wife, Erica, Daily Mail reports.

McIlroy made headlines in May last year when he filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. However, in a surprising turn of events, he later called off the divorce, announcing that he and Erica had reconciled.

“There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool's game. Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning,” McIlroy said at the time.

Now, the golf star will exclusively share insights about what happened during that uncertain period, explaining what led him to initially seek a divorce and what ultimately changed his mind.

The couple has a daughter, Poppy, born in 2020, whom they continue to raise together.
