Ronaldo, Curry, Fury: Top 100 highest-paid athletes of last year
Sportico has released its list of the 100 highest-paid athletes of 2024, who collectively earned a total of $6.2 billion.
Details: At the top of the earnings chart is Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who made $260 million in 2024. He is followed by Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, with $153.8 million in earnings. Rounding out the top three is heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, who brought in $147 million last year.
The ranking features athletes from eight different sports and 27 countries, though no female athlete made the list. Coco Gauff was the highest-earning female athlete of 2024, making $30.4 million.
