Milan’s Inter are pressing ahead in their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, despite their initial attempt to strike a deal with the English club falling short.
Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Ben Jacobs on his X social media page, the Italian side recently tabled a €25 million bid for the 24-year-old, but Liverpool’s management immediately turned it down, deeming the offer far too low.
The Merseyside club are only willing to part with Jones if they receive an offer exceeding €40 million. At the same time, the Reds are under no pressure to sell and are comfortable considering keeping Jones in their squad.
Sources indicate that after the rejection, Inter began discussing an improved deal structure. The club aims to return to negotiations soon and submit a new official bid that could persuade Liverpool to engage in serious talks.
Transfermarkt currently values Curtis Jones at €35 million, and his contract with Liverpool runs until 2027.
