American golfer Scottie Scheffler has achieved a historic milestone on the PGA Tour.

He has already completed the first round, finishing with a score of -5 under par. It has been revealed that the American golfer has now recorded 28 consecutive rounds under par on the PGA Tour, the highest streak since 1983.

It's worth noting that Scheffler recently achieved another historic feat. He won THE PLAYERS Championship for the second consecutive year. Remarkably, he became the first golfer in the 50-year history of the tournament to successfully defend his title.
