“Scary good”: Erling Haaland shares his poster for Nike ad
Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has become the face of Nike's new “Scary Good” advertising campaign. The striker shared the campaign poster on his Instagram page.
Haaland posted a photo featuring himself with the caption “The Nordic Nightmare.” The Norwegian also shared a video styled as a claymation cartoon. In it, he steps onto a boxing ring dressed in Norway's national kit, defeats all his opponents, and claims the champion's belt, celebrating in his signature style by sitting in a yoga pose.
It's worth noting that other well-known footballers also feature in the “Scary Good” commercial, including Chelsea's Cole Palmer. The campaign consists of several horror-inspired stories, each focusing on one of the stars.
Recall that last season ended in disappointment for Haaland and Manchester City — the team failed to win a single trophy, marking the first time this has happened in nearly a decade.
