Scandal. Thiago Motta is disappointed with the referee's actions in the match against Napoli

Referee Daniele Doveri disappointed Juventus and Thiago Motta, who demanded an indirect free kick in the box after Elia Caprile handled the ball following a pass from Mathias Olivera in the second half.
The Juventus coach insisted on the free kick being awarded inside the penalty area during the Serie A match against Napoli, which took place today, September 21. Napoli goalkeeper Caprile caught the ball with his hands after a back pass from Olivera, but the referee ruled that it was unintentional.
This decision enraged Juventus players and fans, and coach Thiago Motta received a yellow card for protesting. DAZN expert and former referee Luca Marelli noted that Juventus indeed deserved a free kick.
It’s worth noting that the VAR could not intervene, as according to protocol, it is not permitted to assist in such situations.
