Saudi Arabian champions have made an offer for the Barcelona striker
Young Barcelona forward Vitor Roque is edging closer to leaving the club this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Arabian champions Al-Hilal have inquired about the conditions for a potential transfer of Roque from Barcelona. Al-Hilal has yet to make a final decision, but Roque is on their shortlist for possible attacking reinforcements.
It is known that Al-Hilal is initially considering a loan deal with an option to buy. However, Barcelona is only open to a direct sale of the player.
Barcelona has not yet made a definitive decision regarding Roque. He did not impress the club's sporting directors last season, but he will have another chance to prove his worth during the preseason tour in the USA.
Meanwhile, Catalan insiders report that Roque performed poorly in yesterday's friendly match against Olot (1-0), making errors in 80% of his ball receptions.
To recall, Barcelona bought Roque from Athletico Paranaense for €40 million in January this year. He made 14 La Liga appearances and scored 2 goals.
