Liverpool traveled to Bergamo for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Atalanta.

Facing a daunting task after a 0:3 home defeat, Liverpool started promisingly. The Reds earned a penalty in the 7th minute due to Ruggeri handling the ball inside Atalanta's penalty area, which Salah converted.

Following the goal, Liverpool missed several promising chances, and the game settled into a calmer rhythm, favoring the hosts who occasionally troubled Allison.

In the second half, Liverpool slowed down even more, allowing Atalanta to maintain control and comfortably see out the match.

In the Europa League semi-finals, Atalanta will face the winner of the Marseille/Benfica tie. The semi-finals will take place on May 2nd and May 9th.
