Salah has been cryptic about his future at Liverpool
Jürgen Klopp left Liverpool at the end of last season, and it was speculated that a host of stars could leave the squad in the summer transfer window. Most of them, including striker Mohamed Salah, have remained in the squad, but their future still remains murky.
The Egyptian doesn't attach much importance to what comes next with his contract, which has a year left on it, and is simply enjoying himself on the pitch:
‘I just came in for the season and I thought, ‘I have one year left, so let's just enjoy it.’ Don't think about the contract now, don't think about anything now, let's just enjoy it.'
I don't want to think about next year or the future. Let's enjoy the last year and we'll see there. Every week is the most important thing, just think about one game after another. To feel good here and that's it,’ Salah told Sky Sports.
Earlier it was reported that the striker intends to work his contract with Liverpool to the end and leave Anfield as a free agent.
