Arsenal hosted Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The Gunners opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Bukayo Saka placed a precise shot into Manuel Neuer's corner with a billiard-like strike, assisted by Ben White.

For Arsenal, this goal marked their first in the Champions League quarter-finals since 2010. On April 6, 2010, Nicklas Bendtner scored against Barcelona.

However, that goal did not aid Arsenal much as they lost 1:4 and were eliminated from the tournament. Since then, Arsenal has not advanced to the quarter-final stage.

Earlier, we reported that an Arsenal defender set a record among top-league players this season.
