Rudi Garcia wrote an emotional post after leaving Napoli
The former coach of the Italian Napoli, Rudi Garcia, shared his emotions after his dismissal from the post of head coach of the team.
According to the experienced coach, he did not expect that his farewell to the fans from Naples would be like this.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the fans, players and everyone close to the team for their support from day one. I also want to wish the team good luck in the championship and the Champions League,” he wrote in a message on social networks.
It is noteworthy that Ruby Garcia’s place in Napoli was taken by the experienced Italian coach Walter Mazzarri, who signed an agreement until the end of the season.
Napoli's previous two matches were a key factor in Garcia's dismissal. The team drew 1:1 with Union in the Champions League, after which they were sensationally defeated 0:1 by Empoli in Serie A at home.
Garcia worked as coach of the Neapolitans for only a few months. He came to Napoli last summer when he took over from Luciano Spalletti.
