Napoli has dismissed the head coach Rudy Garcia.

The club officially announced the manager's resignation. Walter Mazzarri has been appointed as the new head coach of the team. It has been previously reported that the contract with the 62-year-old Italian will have been valid until the end of the 2023/2024 season. According to Tuttomercatoweb, the coach's salary will amount to 1 million euros.

For reference, Mazzarri has previously coached Napoli from 2009 to 2013, winning the Italian Cup with the team in 2012. His most recent club was Cagliari.

Under the guidance of Rudy Garcia, Napoli played 16 matches, securing eight victories, drawing four times, and suffering four defeats.
