Ronaldo's club has been banned by FIFA
Al-Nasr club from Saudi Arabia, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, has received a ban on registration of new players from FIFA.
This information was published on July 12 by the British edition of the Daily Mail.
The reason for the sanctions was the club's failure to fulfill its obligations to Leicester to pay bonuses related to the deal for Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa.
The forward joined Leicester just after their championship season in 2016, but failed to establish himself in England. He scored just five goals in 33 games for the English club before returning to CSKA on loan.
In 2018, Musa was sold to Al-Nasr for a fee of around €16 million.
He played 60 matches for the Arab club, winning the Saudi Arabian championship, before leaving two years later as a free agent.
FIFA continue to insist that Al-Nasr failed to pay Leicester €460,000 in compensation for the player, plus interest in the form of bonuses. Al-Nasr's response remains unknown for now.
