In the 29th round of the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr played away against Al-Khaleej. The hosts were comfortably positioned in the middle of the table, while Luis Castro's team lacked motivation, as they are unlikely to lose their second place.

Cristiano Ronaldo returned to his team after a suspension for his red card in the Super Cup match against Al-Hilal and nearly scored in the 15th minute, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Interestingly, prior to that, a goal by the hosts was also disallowed for the same reason. The guests controlled the game, and Ronaldo had several attempts on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net. The only goal of the match came in the middle of the second half, when Aymeric Laporte scored after a pass from Marcelo Brozovic.

It's worth noting that Ronaldo only scored in one match in April, when he netted three goals in one half against Abha.

Al-Khaleej 0-1 Al Nassr
Goal: Laporte 68.
