Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne shared his thoughts on whom he would rather team up with—Messi or Ronaldo—if given the chance.
Details: According to SportBible, the Belgian star admitted he would choose Cristiano Ronaldo, primarily because the Portuguese forward is a striker, while Messi is more of a playmaker.
Quote: "I’d probably say Ronaldo, because he’s more of a traditional striker. Messi is more of a playmaker. I’m a playmaker, so give me a striker," Kevin De Bruyne confessed.
It’s worth mentioning that earlier reports suggested Manchester City’s leader and star, De Bruyne, is seriously considering a move to Saudi Arabia’s league.
Reminder: De Bruyne has been with Manchester City since the summer of 2015. He has recorded 102 goals and 170 assists in 382 appearances for the club. With Man City, De Bruyne has won the Premier League six times.
