Manchester City leader and star Kevin De Bruyne has hinted that he is seriously considering a move to the Saudi Arabian league.
"Saudi Arabia? At my age, you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about incredible amounts of money at the final stage of my career. I have to think about that. For my wife, an exotic adventure is fine. I have to think about my future," De Bruyne said in an interview with HLN.
"If I play in Saudi Arabia for two years, I could earn an incredible sum... Before this, I had to play football for 15 years and may not have even reached that amount. One must consider what that could mean next."
It was previously reported that acquiring De Bruyne is a priority for the Saudi Arabian league officials this summer.
De Bruyne has been with Manchester City since the summer of 2015. He has scored 102 goals and provided 170 assists in 382 matches for the club. With Man City, De Bruyne has won the English Premier League six times.
