Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the Portuguese national team for the October matches of the UEFA Nations League. However, prior to that, he held a meeting with the leadership of his club.

Details: The Portuguese football star met with representatives of Al Nassr to discuss his future with the club. According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Ronaldo met with CEO Fienga, a delegation from PIF, and a representative from the Ministry of Tourism.

The negotiations went positively. All parties are confident an agreement will be reached soon.

To recall: On December 30, 2022, it was announced that Cristiano Ronaldo had signed a contract with the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese star secured the highest football salary in history—€200 million per year.

His current contract runs until June 2025. In May 2024, he received the Golden Boot award as the top scorer in the championship, scoring 35 goals that season.

On a side note, Ronaldo’s fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, recently posted an Instagram story showing Cristiano Jr. doing homework in a Manchester United kit, though the shirt didn’t feature his father’s name.
